Tell them how much the Lord has done for you
Mark 5:19
I gave a talk this morning to the men’s group at our parish. The talk springs from Jesus telling the man delivered of the legion of demons—“Go home to your friends, and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”1 The talk starts with my testimony about three life-changing events that took place in my late 20s and set me on a new trajectory in life. The message? God has not abandoned us.
We need to make a serious commitment to daily mental prayer. I hope that this talk encourages you to do so wherever you are in your spiritual life. May God bless you and give you a greater desire to encounter Him in prayer, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
