Where do you find inspiration for prayer?
I was leaving the neighborhood this morning and stopped at the light. In front of me were bright beams of sunlight streaming through the cloud cover. Beams of light shining on the earth despite the weather being generally overcast.
Every time I see something like this, I think of God. It always makes me smile because I think of this Scripture passage:
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”1
No matter how dark things may seem, God is still there. He uses everything to speak to us if we are listening.
