Healing After The Resurrection
During this Easter season, we continue our joyful song of “alleluia” because the Lord has risen from the dead. We are participants in the resurrection by virtue of our baptism. As people in the world, however, we find ourselves in need of ongoing healing as a result of sin (our own and that of others) and spiritual warfare. The Apostles continued the healing work of Jesus after His resurrection, and that work continues even today. Yes, Jesus heals! This is a reflection on the healing of the man lame from birth in Acts 3:1-10 with a guided prayer for healing at the end. If you are able, prayerfully read Acts 3:1-10 before you listen. Ask yourself, where am I in need of Divine healing? Listen with expectant faith.
